Here are my thoughts at the moment:

Vertigo is scary.
I’m somewhat excited to learn how to program. How I dream to work in an IT related job.
Study Python, then PHP and get a job as a web programmer. It won’t happen right now and that way. Do it on the side.
What’ll happen: Get any job maybe [...]

Here’s a realization.
Guess who said the quote:
Much is lost from indecisions rather than from bad decisions.

First, think of the best possible yet attainable solution for your problem.
Execute the solution.

It’s better rather than doing:

Chose a solution. Most people will choose the most convenient one requiring the least amount of effort. They are unsure of the solution [...]

I followed Vincent’s advice and printed two Python e-books that I’m going to read. It’s a pain I tell you. about 600+ pages on a faulty HP 930c Inkjet. It took me all morning and most of the afternoon. You should’ve seen the stack of my rejected prints.
I used FinePrint BTW to print the pages [...]

Cool Hand Luke

“What we’ve got here is failure to communicate.”

If you need some inspiration for freedom go see Cool Hand Luke.
He defied conformity  in a prison. Tried to escape a couple of times. What a guy. I liked it best when he befriended the inmates. He’s himself and they just adored him.
He’s a guy who fears [...]

Is It Worth Working Hard?

A question I asked myself when I was still working was, "I’m working harder. Would they pay me more?"
Let me put some metrics in my question. Let’s say, if I work twice as much, would they pay me twice of my current salary?

I’ve read somewhere that simplicity is overrated. I disagree with that. It’s like saying time isn’t important because I think time is directly connected with simplicity.
Time is gold, as you’ve heard it a million times. We all think it’s important. We spend it wisely, try to save some of it, try to get more out [...]

Why Won’t She Knock?

I’m a mean bastard. Mom went by the room because she wanted to know if I wanted to eat dinner. She knocked only after opening the door. She knows I don’t like her doing that. I slammed my hand on the table because of it. I kind of slammed it because of frustration and I [...]

Here are a list of things that I’ll be buying once I get a job:
1. Shirts – Simple, comfy and cool ones. I’d get those 400 – 500 peso ones in Greenhills.
2. Cargo shorts – I want the one Seth wore on Superbad, the camouflage one.
3. Zen Stone – entertainment for those long bus trips.
4. [...]

Last September 5 (yeah I’m about a week late), the WLW team released the last beta version before the final. So if you’re using this fabulous software like I do, go over to http://windowslivewriter.spaces.live.com/ and download the latest beta now.
On another note, whenever I pimp Microsoft products, I feel used. I feel uncool. Why is [...]

It came to me. One of the reasons why it’s a little hard for me to learn to program is because I’m learning from e-books. Not that it’s not possible learning from e-books, it’s just inconvenient learning from them. My eyes hurt after reading for ours on the screen and so is my head.
There’s just [...]

  • What’s this about?

This is another personal blog which means topics range from anything that I can think of or want to write.

I mostly write about my struggles about learning how to program and finding a job. Also when I feel like it I write long posts about my rants and ramblings about my life. All in one big paragraph. Don't say I didn't warn you.

About the kansas state thing, it's actually a misheard lyric from a certain song I like. Try to guess what song. :)

    Happy reading!
